Chrissy Surprenant is a fourteen year veteran in the multifamily industry beginning her career in 1997 as the Rental Coordinator for a small realty office in Stow, Ohio.  Throughout her career she has worked in subsidized housing as well as conventional housing where she continues to work as a property manager at a small conventional community in Kent, Ohio.  During her career as property manager for a HUD based property she received certification as a Certified Occupancy Specialist as well as a Certified Housing Manager through NCHM.
Chrissy Surprenant enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls Hannah (5) and Addison (3), camping, concerts, and bike riding.  Chrissy is active in her local community by raising awareness for children with special needs as well as children with developmental delays.

By day, I’m the Leasing Manager at THE best apartments in Akron, Ohio!  By night, my adorable 6 year old son, soon to be husband and our petting zoo take priority.  I’ve been in the industry for 4 wonderful years and I’ve never been happier!  This scholarship has introduced me to an amazing network of people.  I’ve made new friends, taken on new challenges and even learned a few things.  To think it’s only been a few weeks!!  Thank you Training Factor!  I’m looking forward to this journey.

 
Michelle Fording 2011- Aspire Scholarship Winner PDF Print Email

Michelle Fording is a Property Manager in the South Florida market. She is currently managing for Atlantic and Pacific Management, a locally based Miami company.  Michelle has been with Atlantic and Pacific for six years.
Michelle is an eleven year veteran in the multi-family industry. Her first position in the industry was as a full-time leasing consultant with Fairfield Residential. With her drive and dedication, she was quickly promoted to assistant manager and then manager.  Michelle is constantly pursuing training and other various educational opportunities in an effort to continue her personal and professional growth. She hopes to one day be the marketing and sales trainer within the multi-family industry.
Michelle is very involved within her local community and the various organizations. Her most recent charitable involvement was with the American Heart Association. Michelle was able to motivate her team to raise over $5,000 in support of finding a cure for heart disease.
Michelle enjoys spending her down  time outdoors with her family.  Together they enjoy bike rides, photography, and yoga.  On the weekends you can usually find her on the sidelines of the football field cheering on her eleven year old son.

About Me: I started in the industry in February 2008 as a Leasing Specialist and have sense moved on to an Assistant Communit Manager with Cornerstone Residential Management. I have the goal to learn everything I can so that I can become a Director of Training for a Property Management Company. I tend to come up with unusal ideas for outreach marketing and training, some work and some don't but I do have allot of fun trying them out. I belive that work is meant to be enjoyed, if you do not enjoy work then you need to find a new job. Life is to short to not be enjoyed so learn to enjoy it. Justin Bryan is a Property Manager in a submarket of Nashville, TN.

Justin’s multi-family career started in 1999. Justin started as part-time leasing consultant.After graduating college, Justin continued to pursue his interests in multi-family industry by acquiring a position as Property Manager. Justin continues to pursue all educational opportunities and while enjoying all opportunities for professional and personal growth through experiences and education.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University and an Affiliate Broker License from D&D School of Real Estate.
