Do you have the skills to join our professional shopping team?

Our company hires independent contractors to mystery shop apartment communities across the United States. If you enjoy visiting apartment communities, and get paid to do it, we have opportunities for you.

We are seeking individuals who have daytime flexibility, Monday through Friday to work as a "mystery shopper".

What Is ‘Mystery Shopper'?"

Mystery shoppers are people who visit businesses posing as customers, evaluate the service they receive, and complete an evaluation form. Business owners and managers use these reports to ensure their employees are practicing good selling techniques and providing quality service to their customers.

The Training Factor contracts with certified individuals to pose as potential rental prospects looking for an apartment. The purpose of a mystery shopper is to evaluate the sales performance of apartment personnel with an objective mindset. Your objective is to create the optimum environment for the apartment representative and articulate your findings in a written format.

This can be completed in the form of an on-site visit, video recorded on-site visit, or recorded telephone conversation.

How Do I Get Certified As a 'Mystery Shopper'?

To register, please log onto thetrainingfactor.shopmetrics.com and complete the online application.

There are several guidelines that must be met prior to qualifying you as a shopper

You must review and agree to the Independent Contractor Agreement.
You must complete and pass the Training Factor Certification Program with a passing score of 90% or better before you can be assigned shops

You must obtain at least a “Silver” Certification through the MSPA (Mystery Shopping Providers Association) Once you have successfully fulfilled the requirements, you can be assigned shops in two manners:

1. Be assigned shops through the company
2. Be able to choose shops through “Open Opportunities” on the shopper’s dashboard. You will be able to “accept” the shops you would like to complete.
